Both build desktop apps. .NET builds native Windows apps, and Electron builds desktop apps with web technology. We choose with you, based on what the app must do.
Yes. A desktop app can keep its data on the computer and work without internet. Our own retail POS has a Windows app that works offline.
If you need to work offline or with local equipment, choose desktop. Otherwise a web app is usually simpler to update. We will tell you which one fits.
